Very interesting article. How much of it will become reality is another question though - although I wouldn't put anything past Bush.

"Fly me to the moon..."
"Let me sing among those stars..."

Can there be any more proof that Bush has completely lost it?

With a country divided on home and foreign affairs, spending through the roof and a deficit the likes that has not been seen in decades... Surely this must be some sort of feelgood chicanery?

"In other words, hold my hand..."
"In other words, baby kiss me..."

The shuttle is scuppered, the ISS is a money pit... sure lets go to the moon, aren't we great...

Would love to see it happen though!

I fully support any project aimed at sending Dubya to the moon!
Wonder if the Chinese wil get there first...

I have no idea if George Bush intends sending Americans back to the Moon . I have no idea why political comments are being posted here .I do know is that I don't log on to an astronomy site to read anti- American conspiracy theories. It might surprise you to learn that some of us are like the GREAT MAJORITY of people in Afghanistan,Kosovo and especially Iraq. They are glad to be free and don''t think Dubya is so terrible for saving them from Saddams torture chambers. Funny, is it not?

Oh, so this is where he reckons he'll definitely find Saddam this time - oh yeah, makes sense, with that 5,000+ pound bomb they dropped on that bunker
-bound to have blown him to the Moon:D

Still, we'll wait & see.....Keith...
