Free model kits of HST, pioneer and more was created by dave_lillis
Hi All,
I was doing a search of kits for the HST and came across the following site
spacecraftkits.com/free.html
They provide you with pdf files of the kits, you print them out on paper/cardboard and with the use of a good craft knife, alot of patience and time you can put a model of the HST or whatever they have to offer together.
The advanced HST is over 30 hours of work, can I squeeze this out of my 6 hour a night hectic astronomy schedule?, well if the skies ever clouded over then maybe I could ;)

Galileo, ISS, Cassini and others are all there too!
I was a serious kit builder many years ago, so these will be great fun during all those stormy rain ridden evenings!

Dave, NASA have been doing this for a while - and ESA are at it too.

You can search both their sites directly (or is this indirectly) using the following search strings in the google search bar:

paper model download site:nasa.gov

and for ESA search for:

paper model download site:esa.int

You'll find many hits on both sites.

The search string "site:name" at the end tells google to only return finds on the site "name".

Awesome! I didn't know these were available. I have a niece very interested in spacecraft. Copious amouns of heavy blank card is all you need, then 30 hours and some paint later and voilá!, your very own HST or Cassini...

Download the launch vehicle, add a bit of fuel and hey presto, you have your own space program!

Even better, if you get hold of Bransons stuff, copious card, glue, paint, fuel and you can undercut him at 100k a pop for sub orbital flight :)
