Whoops. Sorry about that. I'll delete the erroneous entry.
Got the coords from Maporama but Google mustn't have done Newbridge as of yet. They promise to have more of Ireland soon.

So are we definitely going with the plan to replace the list of clubs on the lower left and put up a map whereby you press it and it brings you to another page with a big map, say the maporama/google map.

Bart what colour scheme would you propose for the country map on the front page ? I just cant see green working, maybe a grey/blue land mass, the same colour as the rectangular backgrounds to "home" "user control panel" "bulliten board" buttons ?? with black writing?

Seanie, given that the background of the front page is white, might it not be better to use a "white" sea, and yes I know I mentioned a blue sea in a past post.

That was my preference too, a white 'sea'.

Hey lads,
Fine work all!

Heres what I think,
Have an image like the ireland map bellow and
write 'click here to find your nearest IFAS club'
under it.
(also have 'click here to find your nearest IFAS club' as a hover text
when your cursor moves over it.
Then link to the page with the detailed maps......

I did a mock up of the light pollution one...
I think the colours work and it fits in with the astronomy theme to boot!

check it out...

I have to say I like it, mainly as the colour scheme works well with the site, although is it not a bit small to use as a hover methodl, maybe to use only as a click here to get to more detailed map.

Sorry, I probably didnt make that clear...
:)
Yeah, what I meant is just that.
It should be a clickable link to a bigger detailed map....
but that before you click if you hover your pointer over it a little
text box appears saying ''click here to see where..etc....."
