October ushers in darker, longer evenings and clearer nights as we head for Winter. It also heralds the arrival of some of the best constellations for astronomical targets as the nights progress so we get glimpses of Orion, Gemini and even Leo. Check out October's Sky Guide by Neill McKeown here.
Don't forget to keep up your observations and record them - even let your fellow IFAS observers know what you saw. There is also the monthly Sketching Competition with this month's target set as Jupiter. You can find more about this sketching competition here.
