You can lead a horse to water but a pencil must be lead
Constant Sorrow was created by Silversurfer
In constant sorrow all through his nights!
I am a man of constant sorrow,
It's been cloudy all my nights.
I bid farewell to all the heavens,
The place where I would like to gaze.
The place where he would like to gaze!
For six long months,
I've been in a steady stream of low pressure centres tracking in over iceland
no pleasure here,
on earth I've found.
For in this world,
I'm bound to grumble,
I have no stars to look at now.
He has no stars to look at now!
It's fare thee well,
my old telescope,
I never expect to see you again.
For I'm bound to find,
that Northern Airflow,
Will bring in fog instead of rain.
Will bring in fog instead of rain!
You can bury me in some high mountain,
For many years, there I may lay.
With clear dark skies all the year round
and no light pollution either too
and no light pollution either too

And, from the majority of the kind of weather that has led you to sing THIS version, it really is by, The Soggybottom Boys!!

Excellent, I can hear the song in my head, and those lyrics are better than the original.
Are they yours?

The words are mostly as sung by Bob Dylan with a few choice changes of my own. Though
Though I think this version of the song is best sung by the foggybottom boys.
was stolen from a post by Dave Grennan, ( dave, please accept my apologies for the plagiarism but I thought it worked in quite well ).in a steady stream of low pressure centres tracking in over iceland

Very nice Martin
I've already plagarised an epitath;
"Looking at the stars was my life's ambition.
That's all I can do from this position."
Not planning to leave soon though!
