I would assume you can read your lat and long off an ordinance survey map .... I think .......

I've got Autoroute which shows lat and long to an accuracy of 0.0001 degrees. I presume this is accurate enough?? :)
Send me a PM with your address or phone number and I'll arrange something.

Folks, don't forget heavens-above dot com can also give you your co-ordinates.

Dave, if it doesn't have to be accurate, it should get you pretty close.

For example, I live 2 miles from Tyrrellspass. Now, I can't get MY co-ordinates, but I can get them for Tyrrellspass, which is a village of far less than 1,000 people.

If it is accuarcy you are after for something like your computer-controlled mount for your scopes, then I would suggest getting a loan of a GPS unit. They are cheap you know... if you had to buy one!

hi Dave,

one possibility is www.heavens-above.com -- plug in your location (select country first, then town . . . has option to select "neighbours" but Castletown is the closest place listed to Celbridge).

all the best,

John
