I was just wondering How many people are using this Telescope as their main scope !!
Or have you just bought it like myself !
Also, how many of them are out there ?
Is yours still in the box ! lol
Looking at the manual myself ! Yes thats another one for the collection. Will do the usual/ read it later when/if problems .lol:roll:

Managed to purchase one for myself. Still in the box- unfortunately I had to work... can't wait to try it out.
About 6 years ago I purchased a Tasco 8" reflector- you can imagine my disappointment- shaky tripod, C**p viewfinder- and it cost me £215.00. That's what I got for too much enthusiasm and not enough research!!
Having said that, with a lot of persistence I got a lot of use from that scope- and I can still remember seeing Saturns rings for the first time.
Today I feel like I can finally put the Tasco debacle to rest!

My ETX70 is still my main scope after a couple of years of (mis)use. I will be getting a bigger scope at some point, but as that won;t be a portable the ETX will probably see more use even then...

Just bought one this morning in 'Lidl'. Yes I said Lidl and I'm not ashamed to say that when it costs 169 euro. I have already been told put the telescope away twice by my boss, I can't wait to have a go.
