Dogstar --
A gentleman by the name of Quanzhi hosts a service out of China which is somewhat similar to the US/Canada CSC (Clear Sky Clock), but for the rest of the planet. While it doesn't really seem to have taken off (he's currently working on a V3 which hopefully will gain critical mass), I did get him to set up a "panel" for Drogheda.
See: 7timer.y234.cn/eng/clocks/query.htm . (It's not showing clear skies till 3am.)
Cheers,
-- Jeff.

Yeah, you're reading it wrong.
The current chart goes up to the 12th of Feb. Each little square is 3 hours, and days are marked by the vertical gray lines. (FWIW, I've found the windspeed and temp lines to be pretty much out to lunch. But the others are about as accurate as any other weather forecast.)
I'm just outside of Grangebellew (between Dunleer and Clogherhead).
There was a club set up a couple of years ago that met a few times at Monasterboice round tower, but then fizzled out. Did I meet you at one of those? (I'd have been the guy with the yank accent -- pretty hard to miss.)
Cheers,
-- Jeff.

Yeah, I'm embarassed to admit that the 8" has probably only been out of its case once or twice since then. The observatory is just too easy -- I never seem to make it to dark skies anymore.
It looks like it's supposed to be clearing for the weekend. We could try for a session Sat or Sun night if you're around (and the weather reports hold). My direct email is jey(at)adobe(dot)com.
Cheers,
-- Jeff.
