Anybody got a cure for boredom, Has everyone polished and dusted their EP's to within an inch of their lives? I have opened and closed my eyepiece box a 100 times, blown up Wales 56 times on that great link and set my Dobson at a rakish angle anew, every time I pass it in the kitchen....and still its raining and cloudy nearly every single night.......The longest day

Tell me about it, I seem to spend all me time on astromart trying to find a use for a piece of equipment or trying to figure could I get something like this shipped across the atlantic.

but lads, look at the price, the scope comes in at 6200 euros!!!!
thats about what my 20"+goto system costed. This scope had over 1.5 times the light gathering power of my 20".
The problem is those guys don't have the crates the scope came in, so are unable to ship it anywhere.
If I had a way of getting this across the atlantic and a buyer for my scope, I'd go for it, no joke !!! :!:

As for the longest day.
I had a photo planned for this years Solstice.
Worked out months ago what I wanted to do
and was looking forward to trying to take it.
Then last week I got the dread.
I'd a wedding to go to on the 20th.
(insert expletive ad nauseum)
No photo would be taken.
And the sun split the rocks
(in my several double gins.)


Sometimes,
astronomy and social interaction just don't mix.
