Watched the Sky at night monthly programme last night and there was a piece about the Jupiter impact. An excellent photo of the planet by a certain Frank Ryan was used during the piece, so congrats to Frank, unless there are two of you out there!

Nope twas me all right,
I got an email last week from Chris North requesting the use
of the image.
I was delighted but also a bit bemused as to why mine
seeing as there are now so many, much better images out there
of it, but his reasoning was that it was one of the first shots
taken this side of the planet after Bird had imaged it.
I missed the programme although I'm sure it will be repeated on
BBC4 sometime.
