New Irish Astronomy Shop was created by Keith g
Hi all, I have just come across a new online astronomy shop here in Ireland, just only newly set up and is based in Dublin.
BTW, i am in no way affiliated with any shop, just putting the notice out

I Should also add that this is the same contact address as the address supplied on the Astronomy Ireland website.

Hi all,
Carl and a couple of the others guys who ran the Astronomy Ireland shop have set up a completely new business from scratch. They are completely separate from AI who have moved out of the Airside location and no longer have a physical presence there. Carl said to me that rents elsewhere for their new company proved very expensive so they decided to renegotiate a new rent for the original AI place - hence the same address that people have noticed. The shop itself will open in a couple of weeks but the web site is already trading.

Yes they will. I think its a great move for the guys all of the people based in Dublin have had some sort of contact with Carl at some stage and I know myself from buying equipment from him and the other 2 lads that we will be well looked after. I seen this posted somewhere else but it so true, this time 18 months ago the only type of astronomy equipment available to buy in Ireland from an Irish supplier was Celestron and that was it, now because of the hard work of Stephen in Ktec and the guys at Scopes and Space we now have 2 suppliers giving us a choice across a whole range of products and brands. Good luck to them and I look forward to spending my not so hard earned cash with them in the future : cheer:
