Hello everyone.
I've just booked for Cosmos 2020 which is going to be held in the Shamrock Lodge Hotel from Friday 3rd April till Sunday 5th April.
I have only booked the hotel.
Now my question is: do I need to contact an astronomical society?
Do I contact Shannonside Astronomy Club or Limerick?
Thank you in anticipation,
Aubrey.

Great!
Thank you, Michael.
By the way, very few folk have booked for Cosmos 2020.
It's time for us Dubliners to invade Athlone!
Kind regards,
Aubrey.

Hi Michael and Aubrey,
COSMOS 2020 looks like a great event, so I'm going to attend it. I'm just trying to work out how many days I can get down it. At a minimum I will be down Saturday donning the blue and navy!
Clear skies,
Darren.

Hi all,
Midlands Astronomy Club are now quickening the pace for COSMOS. Now that the Galway SP is over, we in MAC can liven things up a bit more for COSMOS.
We currently have confirmed speakers in:
Dr. Andy McCrea, Irish Astronomical Association
"Return To The Moon"
Mr. Tony O'Hanlon, Limerick Astronomy Club
"Title TBA"
Mr. Ronan Newman, Galway Astronomy Club
"Enterprise to Endeavour: 30 Years of Human Spaceflight"
Mr. Mike Foylan, Charleville Observatory, Rathmoylon, Co. Meath
"What is the NEMETODE Project in Meteor Observing?"
And more are to be announced.
We had others confirmed, but due to various reasons, commitments had to change for some speakers while our dates could not.
You can get some more information at www.cosmosstarparty.ie
Thanks,
Seanie.
