TAS 2006 Calendar Now on Sale was created by Seanie_Morris
On behalf of the TAS Committee:

Its official! TAS has now got its own 2006 Calendar on sale. As you have seen from other threads, its the culmination of the childrens art competition in conjunction with Byrne's World of Wonder, Tullamore.

The proceeds of the calendar are to raise funds for TAS, to help get it a couple more steps closer to fulfilling its objective to having a local observatory AND clubhouse on our site. Two good spin-offs from all this is the publicity TAS will receive with the sale of the calendars, as well as bringing an interest in astronomy to more local (and not so local) kids.

It is available from certain branches of Byrne's World of Wonder (so far, Tullamore & Mullingar, priced €10), or direct from TAS by sending €10 with a stamped address A4 envelope (96 cents) to us.

Thank You for your support!

A big thanks goes out to Michael O'Connell & Seanie Morris who spent many hours of their free time compiling and laying out the calendar.

Folks,
feedback has been more than positive about the calendar - but we still have some available! We hope to get a second buch printed, so please support! Michael & I spent a great deal of time, and we would hate to see many left over, particularly as many on these boards said they would like one.

If you do want one, simply send a stamped address A4 envelope (96 cents) with €10.00 enclosed to:

Tullamore Astronomical Society,
c/o 'ANSTEE',
Daingean Road,
Tullamore,
Co. Offaly.

Some folks here have already bought one. If you would like to give your feedback here, good or bad, as well as suggestions for further projects in the future, then lets hear them!

I'll have to put the pressure on Michael in case I don't make the next KAS meeting myself! :D
