TAS plans a second 'unofficial' Star-B-Q: all are welcome was created by Seanie_Morris
Some folks were asking if TAS would organise another Star-B-Q like the one we had for the Perseids, because (a) some could not come originally, and (b) much relaxed fun was had at the first one.
So, how does Saturday night of September 23d sound? Some of you have already expressed delight, so for more of you, here is the invitation: please feel free to come down, camp overnight on our secluded observing site (PM for directions), relax, eat some food from the bar-b-q, and have some craic around the campfire.
What are the restrictions? That you bring your own food, your sense of humour, and don't expect me to cook for you!
This will, realistically, be the last one until late spring, so if you feel like coming, then we look forward to having you! Camping attire essential, as is everything you need (comfy chair included!) to stay overnight on-site!

Leo @ Lionsden
Perhap because light travels faster than sound, some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
