IFAS Sketching Competition - June 2009 - Star Clusters

Hi Folks,
June Sketching Competition.
The rules are as per the Astrophotography Competition, see here:

Please read these before submitting sketches.
If you have any queries, please do not hesitate to send me a PM and I will assist in whatever way I can.

So, let's get the ball rolling:

Theme: Star Clusters

If you want to take part, please send me a PM with the following:

* Name of Star Cluster
* Materials Used
* Link to your sketch on Flickr (or some other image hosting website)

For voting at the end of the month, the images will be posted up with no names attached.

The sketch does not need to be created in June, it could have been sketched anytime.

Once the votes are cast by your fellow members, the name of the winner will be announced.

The Prize: The adulation & admiration of your fellow IFAS members!

Any queries, please don't hesitate to ask.

The closing date for entries is: 30th June

Does "star clusters" include both open clusters and globular clusters, or did you mean specifically open clusters?

Can be open or globular Jeff.
...or in Seanie's case, it could also include "closed clusters"

Someone entered the details directly into this thread (I will issue them a pm now).
I have those details on file now and have removed their post so as to keep their entry anonymous for the judging process - makes the voting fairer.
At the end of the month, I will make a post here will all the details etc and how to vote.
