Celestron CGE 1100 + Accessories was created by CatsEye
I've owned this telescope from new having purchased it from Astronomy Ireland several years ago. Emigration forces sale. It includes two vixen dovetails mounted 180 degrees apart and one Losmandy mounting dovetail. Included are the following accessories;
William Optics 2" Focuser
Celestron 1.25" Eyepiece Kit
Celestron 2" Eyepiece Kit
Kendrik Dew Heater
Celestron SkyScout
Celestron Piggyback camera mount
Celestron Eyepiece Tele Extender
Plus the usual accessories belonging to the CGE 1100 such as finderscope, etc.
Looking for €4,000 for the lot.
OR
CGE 1100 for €3,700
All items in excellent condition. All original packaging included.
Inspection of scope is no problem but should get some pics up by the weekend.
Thanks for looking

That's a good deal. Pity you have to sell. I shipped my CGE11 when I moved.

Hi John, how much did it cost you to ship to Sydney?

I shipped all my household contents, including the CGE11 and an 8" SCT in a 20" container. Worked out about 6.5k (including insurance) to Ozzy. A partial shipment (i.e a few boxes would of course be a lot cheaper). Worth looking into as the scope might get a better sale value overseas. Where are you moving too?

When we moved to Morocco (and later moved back to Ireland) we also got a 20" container, all the astro gear travelled with no issues.
But if you decide a fresh approach is best then glws

Where ever I go, I will be starting fresh, bringing as little as possible with me.
