Hi everybody,

just want to introduce myself. My name is Andreas C. Doppler, i just moved
over from Berlin/Germany to Dublin. I'm an associate of the Minor Planet Center
( www.cfa.harvard.edu/iau/mpc.html ) and look forward to nice
discussions here about minor planets.

Welcome to Ireland and to the IFAS boards!
I hope you wil enjoy your time here.
Recent discussions have taken place here re the role of amateur astronomy as an active science subject and how amateurs can help professionals. It might be an area in which you could offer advice at some stage.

Hi Andreas! Welcome along! Dave MacDonald here has been doing some work with asteroid movie making. He has sent some data already into the MPC - thats how he recently got his observatory listed - J65!
