Hooray, the wind and clouds are finally gone so I took the PST out.
Really nice eruptive (?) prominence today. It was huge so I thought I would capture it.
Not sure if I got the Earth to scale but it should be close I think if my calcs of the prominence being 2.2 arcmins long is right.

It was pure luck to be honest. Just happened to go out at the right time.
Clouds just passed again so I went for another peek. It's gone now

Even better Trevor. Seriously, send that in to Astronomy Now, Sky & Telescope and Astronomy plus any online magazines. Its certainly worthy of publication.
