New Moon Photographed was created by R Newman
Just wondering if anyone has seen this
www.astrosurf.com/legault/new_moon_2010april14.html,I
have always been interested in capturing young Moons but this just beats everything by Thierry Legault. I thought the Moon the could not be photographed less the 7.8 hours old on the "Danjon scale".

Hi Keith
I dont really know why this wont work as it worked on another astronomy forum everyone including myself thinks it's amazing, if you can try this link www.astrosurf.com/legault/new_moon_2010april14.html or copy/paste it in your browser, you wont be disappointed.
Quite a stunning shot exactly at New Moon when angular separation between the Moon and the Sun was only 4.55°

The link in the first post had some extra letters added in Ronan, hence it wouldn't work.
However, the second effort below did work.
Pretty amazing stuff by Thierry yet again!
