Nice image of the earth at night, light pollution included.
I have a largeposter of this and a couple of other images, which I need to get laminated before they can be used at exibitions etc. It costs about EUR50 to properly laminate thes posters so they will last. pm me if you are interesting in dontating to ILPAC
Cheers,
~Al

Thats a fine image,
Seems like Europe and the US are NOT the place to be, where as Australia and central north Africa look great,
The sky in Australia must be fantastic, although I wouldnt fancy my chances of a holiday in north Africa:wink: although I know of people who've been to Morocco and said it was great.

Everyone in Ireland buys Meade, and they all buy them from Lidl.

Looks like Greenland is the place to go!
Wouldn't fancy trying astrophotography anywhere near Japan though...

Japan is worse than this image shows since they are only mapping electrical land lighting.
Forest fires are not mapped, oil rigs are not mapped, and crucially Japanese fishing fleets are not mapped. I have all this on another poster which I'll happily show off if ILPAC gets the sponsorship to laminate it
Cheers,
~Al
