Dark Sky land preserve or co-op?

Dark sky projects such as arizonaskyvillage.com and Canada and Michigan's dark sky preserves made me wonder, are there any similar dark sky developments, preserves or land co-ops in Ireland or elsewhere in Europe?

None in Ireland, dont know about Europe. Though with the government buying up land for national parks, it would make sence for them to not use polluting lights in these areas... hmmm... thanks for the idea
