Albert,
maybe you should consider more public appearances and asking for donations, not a fee, to do those appearances.
For example, you are coming down to give TAS a talk on January 10th on behalf of ILPAC. For such events, while I know we all don't charge for our lectures to each others clubs in Ireland, we do receive donations towards travel expenses etc.
So, use that to help you and ILPAC raise a bit of cash. You know quite well that if you receive €30/40/50 for your nights lecture to SAC and back, TAS and back, IAS and back, its not going to cost you that in petrol at all. Its the gesture that counts, thats what matters. So, make it matter to ILPAC the most, who needs it for things like posters and brochures and administrations.
TAS will have absolutely no problem in helping you out like this on January 10th.
