Hi,
I did both visual observation and photography of this large NEA.

It was readily seen in my 28 cm SCT at 80x, despite the near-by bright moon. Luckily the night was clear and very transparent.

For my photographic animation please my website Variable Star Nights .

Great capture, well done - I'm just a bit confused by the timing, was it not the evening of the 30th?

Hi,

I at my 'station west' near Boston, MA, USA. My observations were indeed on the morning of the night of 30-31 Oct 2015. I observed/photgraphed from about 03.00 to 04.00 EDT (Eastern Daylight Time, i.e. Summer Time), which is 07.00 to 08.00 UT. The asteroid was at an altitude of 62 deg when I observed it visually.

Ah of course, I should have twigged that myself. Thanks.
