Hey folks,
Im putting this as a new topic because i could reply to the main thread. It kept telling me there was some error. Will try a new thread to see if that works.
I'm looking for somewhere as close a possible to Dublin to view Neowise. Im guessing somewhere high with a NW view, north of Dublin (so the beautiful light pollution is behind me). Has anyone got any good suggestions? Please dont say Antrim or one of the Scandinavian countries
Cheers,
Sean

Hi Sean,
Great to hear from you, and I hope all is well.
A few of us observed the comet from the car park at Howth summit. While there were street lamps in the car park there was little light pollution from the City. There is also the option to observe the comet from some of the trails close to the car park.
Others will have other suggestions I'm sure, but if all else fails Howth Summit is a good spot.
Clear skies,
Darren.

Brilliant, thanks Darren. Will give Howth a go. Hope you're well too. Hopefully meet up for observing session soon.

Sounds good to me Sean. And if you get to observe to comet, do let us know how you get on.
Clear skies,
Darren.
