Hello, Darren.
Here is a 1" double I have split before!
BU 603 in Leo.
It's very close to the bright star Beta Leonis (Denebola)
BU 603's magnitudes are: A = 6. B = 8.5.
I am planning to observe it again soon.
Because there is a carbon star nearby too.
Now when are the skies going to clear again?
Aubrey.

Hi Aubrey,
Many thanks for the letting me know about BU 603 - that's a mighty tight double alright.
It seems like tonight could be a clear night.
So, I'm going to try and squeeze in a session later - probably from about 11PM.
Let's hope it stays clear.
All the best,
Darren.
