Hello again, Darren.
Here is one other thing you might try: find the star TYC 1648 1081 which has a magnitude of 8.6. This star has a spectral class of K0. Therefore you ought to see it as a yellow-orange star with you 10: reflector.
NGC7006 is a mere 20' west of TYC 1648 1081.
