best of luck to you all for totality. I received a text from Dan Lynch on Monday to say they all arrived in Libya ok. Weather very hot there and, to quote Dan, "the food is insanely spicy"

enjoy Pompeii, Libya, Alexandria, and Malta.

off to overnight in Amsterdam tomorrow night . . . I'm sure we'll find something to do there

I'll be joining the exodus on the 5.30 Aer Lingus flight tommorw evening to Amsterdam. Anyone else on that flight?

Some more notes from S&T, Allan Dyer says on the first eclipse just observe not photo.
Also, forget about using your computer with your digital SLR - too many things to go wrong. KISS.

now off Crete (this is taking so slow because we were at Eclipse party with lots of Champagne!)
