Great shots Frank. Best I have seen anywhere of the shuttle.
Shame I have to leave early on Friday night, it would have been great around 1pm. Still, had a great days boat fishing yesterday followed up by a slap up meal and a few pints in Dungarvan.

I took a shot of the ISS flying over Galway on friday night - that's the diving board in Salthill at the bottom of the picture. The reason that the track of the ISS doesn't go all the way to the horizen is simple - I had my camera pointed in the wrong direction when it came over the horizen so by the time I swung the camera around, and composed, it was high in the sky. Ah well...

Great images Frank. !
They are docking later on tonight, between the 2 passes.
We had a look again last night and could clearly see it through the Obsessionator Michael guided so this time it was alot clearer, absolutely amazing. I could clearly see a H outline, easily decernable and reflective of the images you got.
Did you do anything special to the tracking to get it to work ?

It was class through your 20" dob Dave. Easy to see the shape of the ISS through the eyepiece.
