Just spotted the ISS this evening. When it was at it highest, I saw a bright point of light appear for a split second directly behid the ISS - about 1 degree behid it. Certainly was no star - no stars in the area were visible and was brighter than any of the others stars in the sky.

Possibly a un docking Russian cargo delivery craft reached that space station on sunday, successfully docking to the Pirs module?

There is a good article in the August edition of Practical Astronomy on imaging the ISS, setting up mounts and cameras for the ISS passes etc..
