I kow the feeling! CLouded otu here too, and it completley clear 1 hour ago!
Just saw a chart on the NASA TV channel showing the Shuttle passing directly over the southern coastline of Ireland. Hopefully those in the southern edge of the country saw it.
At least we'll know in future that it passes over us about 20minutes after launch.

Dang! Sorry I didn;t get to this thread in time. The passes directly south of Ireland 18 minutes into flight. Unfortunately HA.com don;t give shuttle passes until after launch. I can understand that in case the launch time changes, but OTOH a proviso could be added so people could figure out for themselves if they needed to add a few minutes or so to the prediction.
Yeah I was clouded at the wrong time too:(

Well, I didn't see it here. There was lots of patchy cloud about. My sister reckons she saw something that was moving from (from what i can make out) the south to the east and low down, at around the right time.
In the few minutes they were out,the brother in law spotted 4 meteors, my nephew spotted 5.
I just managed 2.

I found this, just not fast enough! It shows the position of Endeavour and the ISS.

A mate of mine in Portlaoise reckons he saw it at about midnight. Might have been the ISS though, he's not sure.

Clouded in early here is south sligo but a huge clear patch opeed up just north of me and raced up to it, saw the ISS 2nd pass, waited and saw a slow bright object very low down in the southwest, but went into cloud and lost sight of it. Rang a friend in Kerry AC to confirm but clouded there too. Planetyof bright/fast Perseid too.
