Moon occulting Mars was created by Frank Ryan
Well, are any of you die hards gonna observe this tonight?
It looks like it's gonna be a very near miss form this neck of the woods.
Should be best at around 3:30AM?

Anyone plan on imaging it?

It's very cloudy here in Shannon, I did manage to see the pair just a while ago very briefly through a break in the clouds.
Windy here too.

Cloudy for me too unfortunately.

Guess I'll jsut ahve to watch more of The Planets on UKTC Docs :-)

I saw the pair through a very hazy sky about 2100 last night - checked in the middle of the night when it was bucketing down and saw a wonderful Full Moon hugging the NW horizon on the way to work at 0900 this AM - too bright to see Mars as well!
