Hi Dave
The scope was fine, luckily I had put the cover on the end of the tube, I dried the clock drive and control out just incase but all seems fine now.
Just looking out the window at the lovely Co Derry weather, lol

I hope the scope survived the snow without trouble, i had a similar experience waiting for good seeing on Thursday night.
Just as I was going to image Mars, the clouds came in after waiting all night.
Damn this weather.

Hi Tony
I saw Saturn the clearest I have ever seen last night, I only have a 10mm & 25mm plus 2x barlow but it was awesome, so clear and sharp.
I saw Titan plus at least 2/3 other moons when the seeing was really good.
What 5.7mm eyepiece have you got as I am wanting to get something around that range?
Cheers

Hi Tony
What magnification did the Antares eyepiece give you and did you use a Barlow?
My scope is 130mm with a focal length of 650mm so my 10mm with 2x barlow gave me 130x. Saturn was small, but bright, clear, crisp and I could see the shadow of the rings so I know I can go higher with magnification, seeing permitting of course.
cheers
