Mind you i would also like to shake the hand of anyone who discovers a comet and has it named after them.

Why?

Because they have built their legacy in life purely from a hobby. Their name will live on for eternity and they have one of the coolest objects in the night sky named after them.

Comets are just so amazing. I remember seeing my 1st (Hale-Bop) with the naked eye....................i couldnt even bring myself to say WOW........so you can imagine how i felt when i saw it with my bins.

It was just hanging there so gracefully in the sky with its tails streaming out behind it.
