I saw Saturn, I mean really saw Saturn and it is brilliant . Cold me arse, who gives a sh!t , I saw Saturn. Rings, lobes, shadow of rings, maybe a band on the larger hemisphere with Rhea and Titan in tow.
It's late now so bed beckons and I have to get my head around what I have just seen.

Haven't seen a star all night here in north dublin, intermittent snow showers and 100% cloud. Suppose its fair enough. I can't remember how many times its been clear it the east and cloudy as hell in the west.

Unfortunately clear skies means cold nights. If you want to take advantage of the best nights for astronomy you gotta brave the cold man!
