I set up at 6pm but packed up at 9pm. I was trying to image Mars but our neighbours had lit a peat fire and the chimney smoke was constantly blowing over the planet making imaging impossible  Too much sky glow looking south to see tuttle from my location. I did get my first glimpse of M42 with the baader O111 filter-loads of detail visible. Then the cold got to me and I packed it in.

Rain has finally stopped here and the clouds have just about all lifted. Could be a nice night for it tonight.
