Clear as glass tonight but seeing is not great. All those little white lights are shimmering like crazy.
All the good stuff like M42,Seven sisters,Mars have already gone way too high above my house to be observable. I saw them earlier though for a while.
Why is it that these things seem to be rising and vanishing into the west earlier these days then they were say a month ago?
Changing of the seasons?

Ye i think thats it like orion came backing the winter be gone again for the summer.....the tilt of the earth on its axis as we orbit the sun and as you said the seasons change along with the sky
