There have been quite a number of fireball sightings (between clouds) since Friday. And we're not really due a meteor shower either.

My next scope is going to be a Vixen VMC200L Catadioptric OTA

Technically speaking we aint due one but the Virginids(???) are currently in our skies til the 25th Feb. There is no set time scale or peak for these.
It looks like it might clear later so i'm gonna go hunting them.....or just let them find me....as is more the case.
