"Photon diffusion", actually.
You can wiki that one.
Have in mind that the "mean free path" of a photon inside the Sun is ~1 cm.
PS: A more poetic expression would be "Restless Photon Waltz"

In 3D the results are two equations for the photon energy flux (σ is the opacity), \vec F = -\frac{c}{12\pi\sigma}\vec \nabla U, \vec \nabla \cdot \vec F = 0. By substituting the first equation into the second, we get the diffusion equation for the photon energy density. \nabla^2 U -\frac{1}{\sigma}\vec \nabla U \cdot \vec \nabla \sigma=0.
Ahhhhhhh it all makes sense now.
NOT.

Well, I am terrible at math. The only thing I understand is these 2 lovely letters, pi and sigma!
Well, the rest is greek to me!
These letters could be your initials if you write your name in greek.
So an alternative philosophical explanation would be:
Future (F) reveals 12 PJs (pi-sigma) moving with a speed less than that of light (c is on top) towards a heavenly (U for Uranus) slice of pizza (the big triangle).

Nice talking with you about the Sun, Paul.
Got to go to work now.
I hope you observe the Sun today. Here the weather is very bad, as you know.
And I will be glad to meet some day!

Great weather here today. I was observing the sun this morning. Nothing to report. I'm going to try and get a photo of it (using different coloured filters+SOLAR FILTER OF COURSE) in a while when it passes to the front of the house.
Its a whole different ball game when observing the skies during the day. I kinda like it.
Good talking to you too.
