I think I saw a 28" scope for sale in Ireland somewhere, I cant remember the site though.

14,000 euro and I had Dave in mind when I saw it. Upgrade maybe?

I saw it earlier today on Astromart as well. Speak about a light-bucket ... and something ideal for exoplanet transits.

Oops, sorry for the duplicate post since Dave already referred to it.

Can such a beast be used for four to five hours for an exoplanet transit? I know Eamonn has an ever larger instrument for such work but it is not a dob.
