Is it a satellite or space junk?

Looks like a sat to me.

I think if it was space junk it would be burning up in the atmosphere more like a meteor.

But then again if it is a sizable piece of junk not entering the atmosphere would it reflect sunlight and appear as a satellite as it orbits?

It's all down to size PJ.
There are litterallty hundreds of thousands of bits of Junk up there,
most of it no bigger than a golf ball.
The majority of it is smaller than a grain of rice.
(enough to do serious damage to a satalite all the same)

Lots of the satelites you see are military and therefore not on
'heavens above' and the like.

I dont think the shot above shows either the ISS or Shuttle.
It's not a question of it bieng to faint or not as there are many
factors to consider.
Had a look on Starry Night and found nothing.
