You just got to remember marriage is a never ending battle for the
moral high ground.
If you ever let it slip your doomed.

I bet your wife was out of the house when you wrote that Frank.

Out of the house? She doesn't know this site exists I'll bet! :P

Worth doing a history check on your PC Frank in case this site is being read in your absense.
You are braver than I will ever be :D
Mind you, I was thinking of bringing something with me to Australia in October on holiday. Oh yes.... that was the wife.
See , now I'm in trouble.

Speaking of wives when I was over is Patrick's Moores there was me, dg, & pm having a chat in his study room. So the phone rings and it was her good self to see how I was getting on. Sir Patrick said to me who is that on the phone I said it was the wife he said give me the phone Patrick being the guy he is started to talk about the Eclipse. For the love of god I thought to myself. My hart was pounding the sweat was starting to drip. Then Patrick asked the question did you enjoy the Eclipse last night. I said to myself please don't say WHAT Eclipse not to Patrick's Moore. Anyway she said it was to cloudy in Dublin to view the Eclipse I cannot tell you the relief when she said that to him. Was I lucky of what.

Speaking of wives...

Carl,
thats classic!

Aaaa--nneee--way.

Back to JUPITER!

I hear that 'Spotty' has been gobbled up by the GRS.
There seems to be a lot of climate change happening
in a short period on the Giant.
I wonder is that a symptom of better / more frequent observation
or a surge in climatic disturbance.

I got a fine view of Jupiter last night at around midnight. It was cloudy but the cloud cover dissipated enough for a good look through my Skywatcher. I could make out the banding of Jupiter's clouds. Fantastic stuff.

Here's a link to a news item on the "battle of Jupiter's spots" - sounds like a good title for a teen movie... :silly:
