Very rarely does artwork appear on APOD.

I just saw this when I fired the computer up, as APOD is on my home page.
Brilliant work, Dee, it really is kudos to have a sketch in this coveted position.

Yes, as I commented in the Cloudy Nights Forums, I would second what Michael stated here. I think the last time a single pastel sketch appeared in APOD, it was my Mercury transit of the sun posted on Nov 17 2006.
