Hey folks

Just wondering if anyone is planning a marathon this year? We gave it a go at SDAS last year, we were doing quite well until the clouds rolled in.

New moon is on March 4, a Friday night, which is handy, I'm proposing that SDAS make another attempt, either on the 4th or 5th, is anyone up for the challenge?
Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Midlands Astronomy Club has one planned for next Friday, March 4th at our Site in Clonminch just outside Tullamore. Charts have been prepared and there are around 10 interested people so far. Anyone who reads this here is most welcome to join us. I don't know if it will fall on Saturday night instead should the weather not be great for Friday night, we'll let our members know via the usual channels and here as well.

Hi guys

Well, it looks like the weather is set to hold clear, typical, a run of clear nights and the scope is on the fritz.:-( . Anyway, what say we head down to the Sugarloaf on Friday night and give it a go?

Personally I can't do Saturday, but if the majority prefer Saturday, that's cool, go for it.

How does 6.30 sound?
