€12 would be worth it. Though you'll get a small field of view with only 12X magnification. Would be great for a child more so than a serious amateur (adult?) astronomer, in my humble opinion.

That is what I also suspected. They should be good for the moon.
I may pick up a pair to leave in the car and post a review. After all, we are talking about 12 Euro.

I own a pair of Meade 9X63 binoculars which give 5.7 degrees FOV.
I wonder what FOV these Lidl ones give?

I looked at these when they came around before and decided not to spend £10 of my hard-earned on them. The exit pupil is not even 3mm and from what I could tell in the supermarket the optics didn't have anywhere near the definition of the 10x50s sold in previous years which are excellent value for money with only minor optical defects that you pay a load more to get rid of. I'd save your money unless you really need something compact for the car etc.

I picked up a pair anyway. They are not bad but not even close to the 10 x 50s they normally sell. OK for birdwatching but pretty awful for astronomy. Roughly a 3 degree field of view. Lots of chromatic aberration and internal reflections.
Save up another €6 and get the 10 x 50s.
