BTW, I saw a massive fireball at around 8.11pm coming back from Michaels place, on my way into Limerick, it was west of the moon , so I presume it was one of these taurids, I was driving in city lights, this streak lasting 4 or so seconds, I reckon it was atleast half the brightness of the moon, it was green and the last 2 seconds it was above the light cloud, but still visible, very nice

As you can see a few family and people off these boards attended the bar-b-que to celebrate the opening of the observatory - any exuse to meet up really!
Any excuse for free food! Yum!
