In the ;last while I've made some changes/improvements:
1) The scope now has a 4" Mak and counterweights
2) Cables all linked/taped together - cable management
3) PC in observatory.
4) Timber case made for pc (from some surplus timber I had)
5) Purchasd a refurbished 17" CRT monitor today - placed aerobooard over it to keep dew off.
6) Installed a little bookshelf
7) Red light from mains installed
Lidl indoor/outdoor weather monitor installed
A couple of photos below:
Clear skies,

I must be telephatic or something, I also spent the day fitting out my observatory aswell
I put up a shelf which goes entirely around all 4 walls, it holds the monitor aswell as a few other things. I'll put up a pic here tomorrow for comparison.
What kind of wood did you use??

no-cost wood!
bits and pieces left around...the pc case for example is made from an old headboard. the table is a "highly modified" version of a table i bought for 20euro in lidl.

I wouldn't simply chuck out the bikes John. Rather, sell them, and then you'll have both the space AND the money!
