Michael,
Looking at the last photo with the arrangement of the scope height viewing in relationship upper wall height, will you have a problem getting down to elevations of 30 to 40 degrees above the horizon?

Eamonn, as far as I recall Michael had some obstacles that were going to obstruct his view anyway- namely the house and the back garden wall. So he would not have been able to get that low to the horizon anyway.
Michael- really looking good. Well done can't wait to see these improvements in personal. Looking good.

Thanks for the kind comments and for offering yorselves to use my scope like it's something from Alton Towers!
In the photo, it's shown pointing towards the north star. Towards the north, i can see above approx 30-35degrees. below this my house gets in the way. As my house and the other houses in the row are towards the north, i would lose this area anyway. Towards the south, I only miss the bottom 25 degrees approx, so it' fine.

I tried a HomeBase today. Even worse, believe it or not....

You're obviously visiting a better class of Woodies than I am. They can't even tell me that up here.... All Woodies staff/children can do is tell me what shelf it's on...
