Hi,
Before you post infomation on all you astro equipment consider the security implications of doing so.

Valid point John, but I'd say it would be the stereos, TV's, DVD's and CD's that are more at risk of being broken in for!
This also crossed my mind, but I'm with Seanie on this one.

22x100mm Strathspey with red dot finder (acquired Dec 2005)
20x60mm Tento (acquired Apr 1989)
10x50mm (acquired Apr 2004)
2 camera tripods
(parallelogram mount in the design phase)
2 eyes (optically assisted)
1 car (to escape the City lights)
2 folding stools somewhere in the pub in Rathgar since Christmas (Shane will know what I mean!)
. . . 287 astronomy books, 1971-to date of Sky and Telescope magazine, 1974 to date of Astronomy magazine (everyone more than welcome to reference this material if you need to dig out an old article, etc.)

Seriously, I suppose it is a valid point alright to be honest. I've had a few people from the boards round my house to date and, to be honest, I wouldn't trust half of them!
