Lidl Webcam better than LPI?

All in all not too bad - The camera is on it's way from Amazon UK, and the eyepiece adapter is on it's way from a US e-bay seller. Total cost - €104.50.

I got the
Philips SPC 900NC & the eyepiece adapter today!

I am in the process of trying to figure out how to capture the images.
Everything is fine except I am having a few issues with VLounge....

A. I can't seem to capture .avi files...just mpgs.
B. I can't seem to find how you turn off the audio.

How did you overcome this?

(btw, the Instillation CD is v1.00 if that helps)

Yeah VLounge only seems to do mpegs, and these are useless for what you want to do.

Forget VLounge. I use K3CCD Tools, the free version, for capturing the AVIs. Don't bother using it to stack and align, it's not as good at this as Registax (another freebie). When capturing with K3CCD the audio is not recorded.

I think you can convert them to AVI files by typing .avi at the end of the file name.
