Newtonian dob? was created by markdowling
Hi,
I'm thinking of getting a newtonian ,in the future, purely for viewing and would like anybody's advise on where to get the maximum apperture and value here in ireland. Is AI my only avenue? I'd like a 12" or maybe higher and a dob will do as I said its purely for viewing. Any thoughts anyone?

Didnt someone on these boards get a 12" revelation dob imported from the UK?? They seem like good value. If your buying in Ireland your options are andromeda optics, AI, or North down telescopes.

I have a spare 16" mirror set (unused) that I can let you have at cost (you build the scope around it) or I can work out a price for a complete scope for you. Contact me off list if you are interested.
